This Data Deletion Policy explains how users of Atlas App can request the deletion of their personal data and
account information. We are committed to providing you with control over your personal information and
respecting your privacy rights.
1. Your Right to Delete Your Account
As an Atlas App user, you have the right to delete your account and associated personal data at any time. We
provide a simple and straightforward process for account deletion directly within the app.
Quick Delete: You can delete your account instantly through the Atlas App by navigating to
Profile → Delete Account
2. How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
Step 1: Open the Atlas App on your device
Step 2: Navigate to your Profile section
Step 3: Scroll down and tap on "Delete Account"
Step 4: Confirm your decision by following the on-screen prompts
Step 5: Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Option 2: Contact Support
If you're unable to access the app or need assistance with account deletion:
Alternative: Contact us through the in-app contact form and request account deletion.
Our support team will process your request within 30 days.
3. What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Personal Information: Phone number, profile picture, first name, last name, gender,
email address
- Account Data: Login credentials, SMS OTP history, device tokens
- App Usage Data: Hotel browsing history, search history, app preferences
- Favorites: Your saved/favorite hotels list
- Wallet Data: Wallet balance and transaction history (subject to legal requirements)
- Communication History: Support tickets and communication records
- Analytics Data: Usage patterns and behavioral data linked to your account

5. What Happens After Deletion
- Immediate Effect: You will be logged out of all devices and cannot access the app
- Data Removal: Your personal data will be systematically removed according to our
timeline
- Hotel Partners: Any data shared with hotel partners will be requested for deletion
- Third-Party Services: Data in integrated services (SMS providers, etc.) will be removed
where possible
- Backups: Your data will be removed from backup systems during the next backup cycle
6. Data That Cannot Be Deleted
Legal Retention Requirements: Some data may be retained longer due to legal, regulatory, or
security requirements:
- Financial Records: Wallet transactions may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and
audit purposes
- Fraud Prevention: Certain security-related data may be retained to prevent fraud and
abuse
- Legal Proceedings: Data may be retained if subject to legal hold or court orders
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
personally
7. Account Recovery
Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted:
- You cannot recover your account or data
- Your phone number becomes available for new registrations after 30 days
- All wallet balances are permanently lost
- Favorite hotels and preferences cannot be restored
8. Re-registration
After deleting your account:
- You can create a new account using the same phone number after 30 days
- You will start with a fresh profile and no previous data
- Previous wallet balances and transaction history will not be carried over
- You will need to re-add hotels to your favorites
9. Data Deletion for Deceased Users
Family members or legal representatives can request account deletion for deceased users by contacting our
support team through the app with appropriate documentation (death certificate, proof of relationship, or
legal authority).
10. Children's Accounts
If you are under 18 and wish to delete your account, please have a parent or guardian contact our support
team to process the deletion request on your behalf.
11. Verification Process
To ensure account security, we may require identity verification before processing deletion requests,
especially when:
- The request comes from outside the app
- There are security concerns about the account
- The account has been inactive for an extended period
- There are pending transactions or disputes

with major privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws. Your
rights may vary depending on your location and applicable local laws.
